After Mass Interests on Sundays
Refreshments
All visitors, newcomers and chapel members are invited to refreshments
in the hall downstairs immediately after Mass on Sundays. Stop down and get to know some of
the parishioners in the chapel!
Please note the refreshments are offered each Sunday courtesy of several
parishioners at the Chapel. Don't forget to give them a small donation whenever you can!
St. Philomena's Bookstore

St. Philomena's Bookstore is open in the hall downstairs immediately after Mass every
Sunday. You can utilize the bookstore to do any of the following:
* Purchase books and religious items
* Request Masses to be said for special intentions
* Sanctuary Lamp intentions
* Request religious items to be blessed (to be picked up the following Sunday)
* Borrow Catholic videos (very limited supply)
Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament

Listen to the
announcements before the sermon to know on what Sundays Benediction will be.
When there is Benediction it will start immediately after Mass.
Blessing of the Sick with the Relic of the True Cross

Listen to the
announcements before the sermon to know on what Sundays the blessing of the sick
with the relic of the True Cross will be.
When it is announced, the blessing will start immediately after Mass.
Holy Name Society Prayers

Said immediately after Mass on the second Sunday of each month. See our

Third Order of St. Dominic Prayers

Said immediately after Mass on the third Sunday of each month. See our
Organizations page
for details on the Third Order of St. Dominic.
Holy Face Devotional Prayers

Said every Sunday after Mass, usually around 12:30pm. See our
Organizations page for details on the on the Holy Face Devotion
Prayer Group.
Confessions (Sacrament of Penance)

Normally at 12 noon after Mass every Sunday. Listen to the
announcements before the sermon or check our
Schedule to see if any time changes are
listed for the week for Confessions.
Adult Religion Classes

Listen to the announcements before the sermon to know on what
Sundays Adult Religion Class will be. See our
Organizations page for details on our Adult
Religion Classes.
Catechism Classes (for Adults and Children)

Catechism classes for children and adults are offered by our Dominican
Sisters immediately after Mass in the downstairs classrooms.
These classes are normally offered to children who do not attend St. Dominic's
Academy or to those otherwise preparing to receive the Sacraments.
