Prior announcements and reminders:

  • MASS STIPENDS: Because of the continued deflation of money, we must ask that your Mass offerings (stipends) the increased to $20. Less than that is no longer adequate for a day's support of a priest, which is the Church's traditional standard for gauging these offerings. Thank you!

  • NEW TRADITIONAL CATHOLIC WEBSITE: New traditional Catholic website for meeting others, discussing the faith, posting articles, sharing photos, videos, and music, and more. Join now: http://www.faithfulcatholics.com

  • ROSARY CONFRATERNITY: An Association whose members say 15 mysteries of the Rosary (Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious) once every week. Founded by St. Dominic early in the 13th century after Our Lady herself gave him the Rosary and inspired him to found the Confraternity in her honor.  It was revived by Blessed Alan de la Roche in the 15th century. The first and foremost of many associations approved by the Church, the Rosary Confraternity has traditional been the most widespread and richly endowed with indulgences and privileges.
For hundreds of years until Vatican II, the Rosary Confraternity literally embraced the world. But today, unknown to the average Catholic, it needs to be revived again, particularly since our own century Our Lady of Fatima call upon all to pray the Rosary "always". Without this sword of the spirit, the world is perishing in its sins. The Rosary Confraternity must today become a Rosary Army! Information and enrollment can be seen on this website under Organizations. or in the chapel bookstore.

  • LITERATURE REMINDER: No literature is to be distributed or left in the chapel or hall without Fr. Rodriguez's permission

  • HOLY NAME SOCIETY: Men and boys not already members, please pick up pamphlets in bookstore

  • LOST & FOUND: For any lost items, please check at the Bookstore in the hall. Due to limited space, we will have to dispose of any items not reclaimed after two weeks. Please take special care to put your name in missals and prayer books!

  • POOR BOX: We thank you for your faithful and generous alms to our Poor Box (St. Anthony's Bread) in the vestibule. This is certainly a source of many blessings on the chapel as well as yourselves. "Charity covers a multitude of sins."

  • MEMBERSHIP REMINDER: If you wish to be a member of the chapel and entitled to burial from it, fill out a registration form. These are to be found on the table in the vestibule and may be left at the bookstore or brought to the sacristy. Please be sure to notify (by the same form) of any change of address or phone number as well.

  • CELL PHONES: Please remember to shut off cell phones (or at least turn them on vibrate) during Mass. Also please avoid taking flash pictures during Mass unless otherwise approved by Father Rodriguez.

  • VOTIVE LIGHTS: The offering for the larger votive candles we have to use is $2.00 each. Please be sure to give $2 when lighting any votive lights so the chapel can break even on money spent on them. Thank you!

  • POOR SOULS SOCIETY: The only Mass cards ($10 offering) for the deceased we now have are for membership in our Poor Souls Society. For these souls a special, weekly Mass is offered. What could be better? No time limit for membership either. If nonetheless you want an individual Mass offered for the deceased person, please make your offering $20, and you yourself indicate on your Poor Souls Society card that an individual Mass will also be said for the deceased person. Family enrollments in Poor Souls Society, $50.

  • SANCTUARY LAMP: This is the olive oil lamp always burning on the pedestal at the Gospel side of the altar. It indicates the presence of the Blessed Sacrament in the tabernacle. It is burned for the intention, announced in the bulletin, of anyone wishing to make an offering of $5 for its week's supply of oil. The offering may be made at the bookstore.

  • COLLECTIONS: So that we may be able to continue to meet our expenses, please make up if possible for any Sunday collections missed. Thank you!
