STAND whenever priest and servers enter or leave the sanctuary.

KNEEL during Aspgerges, when priest circles church sprinkling holy water. STAND when he re-enters the sanctuary.

KNEEL for prayers at foot of the altar when priest begins Mass.

STAND for the Gloria (and later the Creed after the sermon) are intoned by priest until he is seated, then SIT until Dominus vobiscum sung.

STAND whenever Dominus vobiscum sung for as long as priest continues singing.

SIT for reading of Epistle until priest goes to Gospel side to sing Gospel after preparation of chalice.

SIT during Offertory (following Creed) after priest sings Dominus vobiscum.

STAND for Preface when priest sings per omnia saecula...

KNEEL when bells rung for Sanctus and during Canon of Mass until priest sings Pater Noster.

KNEEL after singing of Pater Noster until tabernacle door closed after Communion, then SIT (optional) during purification of chalice afterwards. (Due to length of time involved for distributing Communion one may sit after first 5 minutes.)

KNEEL for blessing at end of Mass when after singing Dominus vobiscum priest bows low before tabernacle, then STAND for Last Gospel.
