On Visiting The Blessed Sacrament
It should be a point of shame that anyone coming to the chapel should not, if
time allows, make at least a short visit to the Blessed Sacrament - if only (but
hardly less) of one minute. By the words of the Consecration at Mass HE has come
down from heaven for YOU, and you cannot spare Him a minute of silent, thankful
adoration? Surely at a minimum you can take a dip of Holy Water and salute the
Blessed Sacrament by a devout genuflection - if nothing more.

"Jesus is waiting in His tabernacle for those whom He loves, but who forget
Him. Let us visit Him. Walk softly, the church is a holy place. God is here.
Kneel and adore Him, listen to His gentle voice."

Tell Me about the poor whom you wish to help, the sick whom you have seen
suffer, the sinners whom you would convert, the persons who are estranged from
you and whose affections you want to win back. For all recite a fervent prayer.
Remind Me that I have promised to grant every prayer that comes from the heart;
and surely those prayers are heartfelt which we say for those whom we love."
